Growing up, Josh showed an ear for music, constantly whistling whatever tune popped into his head. During his grade school years, he briefly took piano lessons before moving on to spend 5 years in a private school choir. After moving on to public high school and throughout college, Josh never really considered music a priority, content to listen to the average rock radio station. After he graduated, Josh decided to get back into music and learn to play guitar.
After spending 5 months teaching himself to play acoustic guitar, Josh joined his church's music team and began to build up his skills as a rhythm guitarist. In late 2007, Josh fell victim to the economy and was laid off from his job in south Florida. He found a job in Fort Walton Beach at DRS Technologies as a Mechanical Engineer, and soon after arriving joined the music team for Shoreline Church. After spending a year as a rhythm guitarist, Josh started to get involved on the tech side of things, and soon found himself running the sound board.
Since 2009, Josh has been running FOH sound for Shoreline Church's ever changing band. In this time, he met Dan and frequented the Clinch 46 shows. Early in 2011, Clinch 46 sound tech, Doug, deployed and Josh was asked to join Clinch 46 as their full-time sound tech. Josh accepted and has loved being part of the group ever since!
